First-time setup

Onboarding wizard, company profile, warehouses, numbering, and importing products and customers.

Onboarding wizard

Owners open Onboarding from the sidebar. Walk the six steps in order — you can skip imports, but company and warehouse come first.

Onboarding: Company → Warehouse → Numbering → Imports → Invite → Done. The current step is the dark pill.
  1. Company — legal or trading name, currency (choose from the top 10 plus PKR), and timezone.
  2. Warehouse — a code and name for the default depot. You can add more later under Inventory → Warehouses (or the Warehouses screen).
  3. Numbering — prefixes for sale orders and invoices (for example SO- and INV-).
  4. Imports — jump to product and customer import screens. Both support a dry-run preview before commit.
  5. Invite — name, email, and role for a teammate.
  6. Done — finish and go create the first order.

Settings you will revisit

Open Settings any time after onboarding. On a Base plan, fulfillment stays on simple depot and Premium defaults (credit classes, full warehouse mode) are locked — see Base vs Premium.

Settings — tenant profile, document numbering, reason codes, and operational defaults.
  • Tenant profile — name, currency, English locale, timezone, and financial year start.
  • Numbering — prefix, padding, and next number for each document type. Change this before go-live, not mid-day.
  • Reason codes — shorts, refusals, returns, and other exceptions. Some codes can require a photo on the driver app.
  • Defaults — warehouse, and Fulfillment mode: full warehouse (pick/pack/load) or Simple depot (confirm → dispatch → deliver).

Master data before the first route

  1. Create products (SKU, name, units, batches if you pick FEFO). Use Products → Import for a file.
  2. Build at least one price list with quantity breaks, then attach it to customers or a customer group.
  3. Create customers with a delivery address (postcode, zone, and delivery window help dispatch). Import if you have a file.
  4. Assign a credit class (limit, terms, hold point) so credit checks have a policy to follow.
  5. Receive opening stock with a goods receipt and post it — drafts do not sell.
  6. Add vehicles and drivers under Fleet so dispatch can assign a round.
Products — SKUs, units, and barcodes. Import CSV with a dry-run first.
Goods receipts — post opening stock before you try to confirm orders.
