Base vs Premium
What each plan includes, the Base delivery path, and how demo tenants are seeded.
Two product tiers
WholesaleManager ships as Base and Premium on the same codebase. The plan is per tenant — roles still decide who can use what is unlocked.

Base happy path
- Add products and customers.
- Create and confirm a sale order.
- Open Dispatch, assign the order to a driver.
- Driver captures POD in My Deliveries / Driver App.
- Finance invoices delivered quantity from Invoicing.
Demo tenants
After seeding:
- Premium — Northgate Wholesale (
owner@demo.test/password). Full sidebar. - Base — Base Depot (
owner@base.demo.test/password). Trimmed sidebar, simple depot fulfillment.
Operators change plan in Settings → Plan (Upgrade checkout, cancel at period end, or manual override), or with php artisan tenant:plan {slug} base|premium. Details live in docs/PLANS.md.
Guide chapters and plans
Chapters that describe warehouse waves, standing routes, the portal, credit cockpit, accounting, and advanced reports are Premium features. On Base, skip those chapters and use Orders, Dispatch, Driver app, and Invoicing instead.
